A studio that scales

Small team.One studio.Same obsession.

NeonGhost Studio is a Toronto-based indie studio with a tight core team and a network of specialists we pull in as projects demand. We make games we'd cross the room to play, and we help other studios make theirs. We've been at this since 2021, and our rule has never changed: every game we ship has to feel like an arcade pickup, not a Steam page. This is the studio behind that rule.

Sagar Saha

Co-founder · Game Director

Sagar is NeonGhost's Creative Director and the studio's full-pipeline designer — C# Unity developer, systems designer, level designer, art director, and in-engine cinematics lead, all one person. Six years of shipped games across cozy, horror, multiplayer, and tactical roguelite, with a foundation in animation and a Master's in Game Level Design. He can take a brief from napkin sketch to shipping build without dropping the baton.

Nikhil Venkatesh

Co-founder · Technical Director

Nikhil Venkatesh is the Technical Director of NeonGhost. A developer at heart and problem solver by trade, he has spent the last decade building games, teams, and production pipelines that transform ideas into finished products. His expertise spans Unity development, software architecture, UI/UX, and technical leadership, with experience across multiplayer, horror, cozy, tactical roguelite, and educational games. He focuses on creating robust systems, empowering teams, and ensuring great ideas survive the journey from concept to launch.

How we work

Three rules we won't break.

    Ship the game

    If we can't picture it under a marquee with a name in lights, we don't ship it. Scope first, polish always.

    Two people, two screens

    Every project gets both founders. No account manager. No handoff lag. Direct access — Slack, email, your call.

  • 03

    Craft over headcount

    We grow slowly on purpose. We'd rather be late on the things that matter than mediocre on the things that don't.
